The answer is not refusing to smoke pot; it's smoking pot in moderation and not with knuckleheads.

Whatever, Mr. Ron-Paul-on-the-Democratic-ticket.

Answer the question: How many pots did you smoke?!

Thanks for the buzz assist, BP. but no harm done... Flux didn't kill my buzz. It can take the heat. Even from one of my 4 or 5 favorite Suicide Girls (I can't think of any others right now!) ... Besides: everyone knows smoking too much weed can turn anybody, even an SG, into a donkey...

But for those who want only direct experience for themselves: try this at home:
Get drunk, and think about the wars in Iraq and Afghan. You'll soon be thinking of something else...

Now... Smoke some Cannabis. When you're high, notice if you don't start saying to yourself: "Jeezus Mother: People are being killed, 2 at a time! Torture, secret dungeons, IEDs blowing people apart as if they were rag-dolls. See if you're not feeling the chaos that's out there and thinking to yourself: "Christ Jesus! We've gotta do something!"

I don't recommended this to those too comfortable in their cynicism or Western Industrial lifestyle: stick to booze.

But do not exceed recommended dosage and switch back to booze if you find this interfering with your comfort level

I can agree with this. The last time I smoked was about two months ago, so I'm a real-life casual smoker (as opposed to the type who smokes every day, but considers himself a casual smoker because he stops once he can no longer operate a lighter). I'm also a very light drinker. In fact, it's unusual for me to not be competely sober.

Weed gives me no great insight into the workings of the world. If I'm going to figure out a workable solution to a problem, I need to be sober to do it. I'll be the first to admit that when high, I accomplish absolutely nothing. That's why I'm a casual smoker. I need to go out and do things to make money in order to maintain my Western Industrial lifestyle, which I have grown quite accustomed to biggrin

This is getting altogether weird. Of course that's because I'm not stoned.
Things always get weird when I'm sober.

No I prefer to write stoned, and edit sober, then switch and repeat ... until I'm happy or more likely sick to death of whatever it is.

According to Timothy Leary, Marijuana is known to possess four basic & distinct effects:
First: Short-term memory loss, like forgetting your area code...
the 2nd: Long term memory GAIN: eg. recalling to such a vivid extent the distant past that one actually relives it.
As for the 3rd: I forget
and I really don't give a fuck about the 4th! lol

I adore smoking... If it weren't for my Mary, I would not have my jobs, my degrees, or be working on my 3rd degree... It works for some people, I'm very to high strung and impatitent, smoking relaxes me and helps chill out enough to accomplish what I need to. I would rather take a hit off a bong a couple times a night, that walk around like a zombie from the pills docs are handing out. (although that can be fun sometimes toowink
