When those assholes came out, the rock radio stations in Maryland would play it constantly because they're from Baltimore.

That was about the time I stopped listening to the radio for good.

I heard them on Much Music which always played bands before they became popular here (and those bands CDs were cheap as fuck til they went mainstream). I remember hearing that song and liking it the first time I heard it...it's one of those songs that get stuck in your head and won't go the fuck away!

I always hated them.

A). The singer's got an annoying, nasally voice.

B). He mispronounces 'submarine' to force a rhyme with 'cellophane', and it doesn't even make sense. It's just nonsensical jibber-jabber.

C). Their haircuts make me want to cudgel them with one of my basses.

Have I told you lately that I love you?!

In 2000 no one had lame ass haircuts like theirs.
