I can't say that I've ever had boiled bacon. But I don't think it matters how it's cooled, it's still going to be delicious!!

I made a BLT earlier.

I'm not just saying this because I'm a vegetarian--but that sounds like the worst idea I've ever heard.

Do you put condiments such as mustard or mayo on your blt or do you just let the pork fat coat the bread? I go with straight fat.

boiled bacon is rather normal compared to that, its just meat thats boiled till its cooked rather then grilled, etc whats so odd about that?

Hmmm...as a vegetarian, Im not big on the bacon, but i LOVE the smell of cooked/burnt bacon. I used to eat it like it was going out of style

But, alas, Now Im allergic (yes, honestly allergic) to all meats

However, cooking on average 60lbs of bacon a WEEK kinda turns your stomach, especially since raw bacon doesnt smell nearly as good as cooked.

I think my husband is allergic to pork to some degree. He can eat a little, but if he eats more than a rib or two, he gets sick to his stomach and throws up.

That is possibly the saddest thing I ever heard. The poor guy. My heart goes out to him. I can't imagine a life without pig meat. Where's his telethon?!

Bless his heart, at least once a year he goes to a family BBQ and gorges himself on my cousin's cooking and gets horribly sick. I spend the first hour saying "Honey, you know if you eat that you are going to be sick"

Flash forward to a few hours later of me listening to him heave in the bathroom.

I knew a guy who was allergic to pork (also a Texan - coincidence?). But he was okay with cured pork. So test him out on bacon and salami. If wildfire8808 has still got problems, it's hopeless, and you should leave him for me.

He's ok with a little bit of pork, like having bacon for breakfast or a bite or two of pork loin or a pork chop. I don't know what the exact amount is that he has to eat to get sick, because he tends to go overboard when he does. It's like he knows he will get sick anyways, so he wants to eat as much as possible before it happens.

He's also one of those people that puts hot food in their mouth even after being warned that it is fucking hot.

I'd never move to Seattle, and you've already shown your disdain for TX.
