Could it be that they have a search function fetish?

I can't believe how much totally unchallenged "wah poor us we're men and we are being told not to be aggressive assholes anymore" there is in this thread. Not that I expect anyone to challenge it now, it just surprises me that no one jumped all over that when this thread started.

Which is why I advise everyone I know to ignore what society says is "proper" and "correct" behavior, since it will more than likely change within the next year or so.

@Thistle - Sorry, but it is confusing as all hell, at least to me. We're raised w/ "Real men don't cry, they drink beer and watch football," only to have girls describe that as the opposite of what they want in a man (I want someone caring, nurturing, good sense of humor, emotionally available), then watch the same girls kick us to the Friend Zone while they hop on the "Date an Asshole" merry-go-round. When we complain, we're then shouted down by Society, which tells us that said behavior in women is actually our fault for helping to renforce pre-held stereotypes on male/female interactions.

Thus, to Society, I'm an emotionally crippled narcissist; to me, I've simply stopped wasting time and effort trying to please Society.

*Looks back and realizes he's added nothing constructive to the actual thread*

Oh, and, uh, tell your man "Different strokes for different folks, now get with the spanking or no sucky sucky for you."
