I've had an equal amount of cut and uncut partners. It's all the same to me.

I do think it's weird how accepted it is for girls to publicly go on about how disgusting the natural penis is. If a guy whined about how grossed out he was by natural female genitals - and how only girly bits that have been surgically altered can be attractive - I'm sure that he would be flamed into oblivion in no time. People would point out that the "perfect pussy" is a false ideal perpetuated by porn, and that women (and their men) shouldn't have to care and should be happy with what they've got.

There seem to be quite a few folks in this thread that don't think that men should be satisfied with the dick they were born with.

Very well said! *claps hands*

This attitude irritates me. Parents make a decision informed by the opinion of trusted medical professionals to do what they are told is in the best longterm medical interests of their children. It happens every day in matters a lot more dire than the loss of a flap of skin. Those are exactly the types of decisions parents are supposed to make and need to be able to make. There still remains the question of how valid the medical concerns are, but as long as there are conflicting medical reports on that, it's nothing more than a judgement call, and the insinuation that parents shouldn't make it is silly.

Instead of cutting a part of my penis off for my health...my parents decided to teach me how to clean myself. I think that is a better road to travel.

'm uncut and proud. furthermore, for the last girl I had sex with, I was her first uncut cock, and she praised me for having one, it's certianly a nice compliment when a girl exclaims "I love your dick! it's the coolest one I've ever seen!" (actual quote, folks)

and to those that say it's dirty or unsanitary, what the fuck? you've never heard of soap and a shower? i've never had any problems keeping mine clean.

MMM thank you. I think it comes down to what is "normal" in society. It's kind of a shame that mutiliated male genitals are the norm, but I guess that's life. It hasn't been an issue for me thus far, but if a girl made it an issue, I'd have no problem dismissing her because of it.

the same way most girls here would if their boy freaked out about their labia.

i've seen alot of the posts on here about how girls are "scared" and "grossed out" by uncircumcised guys or even the thought of an uncut penis. I've also seen alot of girls saying they are afraid of how to handle and what not. well... how the hell do you think that makes uncircumcised guys feel???

Probably the same way women with breast implants feel about the numerous threads condemning them.

parents don't shove implants into their children without their consent.

Children often do have reconstructive cosmetic surgery with only parental consent - especially children too young to express any opinion on the matter, let alone an informed one.

And somewhere there is someone who's glad his parents gave him seaweed and accupuncture instead of chemo-therapy. What you're arguing is medical fact - the question of whether or not there is a medical danger to being uncircumcised and if there is what the best solution is. Well, I'm not qualified to make a judgement on that, and I highly doubt you are either. I just don't know (although it seems pretty likely that there is no real danger.)

But the thing is, that doesn't matter. What matters is what the parents believe and know when they make the decision to make the cut. If the parents believe, under the advice of a trusted and trained medical professional, that they are doing something in the interest of the longterm health of their child, then it's fucking ludicrous to say that they shouldn't be allowed to make that decision. Now, if you believe that there is no danger, then you can, clearly, make an argument that certain members of the medical profession are mistaken and should be better informed, but that is a far cry from the blanket statement that parents cannot make important medical decisions for their minor children which several people seem to be saying.

Reconstructive surgery is completly different from forcing upon a child an elective cosmetic surgery. Your statement would need to entail that a cicumsized penis is the "correct" one and that circumscision corrects this defect.

Of course, we could give all female babies nosejobs and lipjobs, so they all end up looking like Angelina Jolie...

The medial reasons were justifications for a practice already occuring for reasons of religion and fashion. Men were not dropping like flies or losing their wangs until a bunch of doctors got together and invented circumcision. Asking "why we should" is a different question than "should we?" And until recently the former question was the one being asked.

Like it or not, fashion and "being normal" are the major reasons why it happens. Given that some women here have an aesthetic preference for circumsized, it stands to reason that they might choose the knife for their son largely based on that reason alone. It's normal and people are attracted to what's normal, regardless of if it's natural.

Women get breast cancer FAR more than uncircumsized men get penile cancer. Should we invent a practice to lob boobs off at puberty? After all, the medical benefit would be FAR greater to them than circumscision is to men, and if most women were mutilated in this fashion, it would be "normal" and they wouldn't miss their breasts at all. The kids don't get any say in it though.

I am glad my parents had me circumsized. It's really not a big deal. I barely even remember having it done.

Yeah me too, I was a little sore for a few weeks after my 16th birthday, but all in all I'm glad they did it.

Thank you.

Women who think circumcision should be mandatory - I bet you declaw your cats, too.

Men who don't see what the big deal is - you, quite literally, don't know what you're missing.

Case closed.

My roomates uncut and I love to get into arguements with him about it. the best one I've come up with besides cleanliness which he has shot down is just that it's streamlined I would beat him in a foot race with less dead weight, and it looks weir but he won't accept that excuse

I'm uncut and I shower everyday; therefore, no "dick cheese." Although, that did make me laugh. The advantage to being uncut is when I'm getting some "me" time in, the skin feels much better than my palm.

You'd rather he start yet another thread on the subject so you can yell at him to use the search function?

That's a rhetorical question.

I hope you see the irony in your post telling someone not to post something.

Seriously. You're not a moderator on this site so, please, unless you have something relevant to add to a thread please refrain from posting.

I was stating an opinion, and I was nice about it. I didn't yell at him, and I didn't say he shouldn't post anything. I have no history of harassing new members.

Clearly you know this is one of those topics that quickly devolves to hurtful comments. I find some comments in this thread personally offensive, and still wish he hadn't bumped it.
