4. I think it depends on their age and how many years they've been having sex. So maybe I should answer this with a formula* :

a = their age
b = years sexually active
c = number of partners

if a < 20 then c / b should be = or < 1.75

if a > 20 then c / b should be = or < 2.5

the formula attempts to take into account time spent monogamous with one sexual partner mixed with periods of short relationships / flings and one-offs. this is why it discriminates by age; assuming that as you are older, you have had more of an opportunity to have a longer relationship with someone or a couple of someones.

that's just my own personal preference; an indicator as to whether (if hypothetically we were dating) your sexual history would make me want to stab myself or not.

* i made this up on the spot and i suck at algebra; so please forgive any inconsistencies in the application of the formula.

D: The number is irrelevant. If the sexual history of your partner becomes any of your business, it would be far more relevant to consider the nature and circumstances of the encounters. But I'd rather not sleep with a virgin.
