At the risk of being totaly flamed for this, i put it up anyway.
i was curious as to what i could change about my look so i could look better for the ladies. being a generally big guy i wear loose fitting clothes, so i ask of the ladies of the site to please give me some tips on how i can look sexy, and still keep somewhat of a punk/metal look.

ooh. i can be the first to comment! I guess everyone has their own opinion, but here's mine. Being pretty tiny myself, I actually like bigger guys. I dunno. I think you're pretty hot as it is. And you look good in black. Just my opinion. smile

Liking grammar makes you hot. At least according to me.
biggrin

In at seriousness though, I think you look like an attractive guy. As much as I tend to go for skinny guys, there's always something about a big, strong cuddly guy that almost all girls go for. And it looks like you're "big" rather than flabby....

Also, I like your facial hair, and I think your piercings rock. and +1 on black being your color.
biggrin

A guy who's not wearing blue jeans, a t-shirt and white sneakers (with white gym socks) has already gone a long way towards impressing me. Some of the bigger guys I know sometimes tend towards clothes that are too baggy, resulting in a look that's sloppy rather than comfortable. Clothes that are well-fitted are everyone's friend, regardless of gender.

If you're clean, confident and friendly, I think you're doing what you should. No point in changing your look just to catch someone's eye - you have to be the best you you can be, right?

Honestly, I have seen much uglier fellows get quite a few ladies.

You are not a bad looking guy at all, and you seem to be sincere enough.

I personally don't really like the facial hair that much, but I am not a female, so my opinion doesn't really count for all too much. tongue

You could be much worse off. You shouldn't have anything to worry about in the long run smile

Hey dude, I'm not shitting on your riff or anything... But you kinda remind me of me...

I'm gonna try to slim down on the caterpillar eyebrows that I have and get them plucked... Maybe you should try this... Or not...

I'm not saying you're ugly, I'm just saying it "could look cleaner".

Try different, more "maintained" facial hair. I got the goat goin' on too, but try connecting it to some chinstraps or somethin'... biggrin

Your eyebrows could do with a plucking.

And since someone actually suggested that, I should clarify that I was kidding.

Acting sad is only going to put people off because you are too wrapped up in your own world and not in theirs.

People, like you, are pretty self obsessed. Be into what women YOU LIKE are into, or at least be able to converse about it like you arent ignorant.

Show appreciation in things when you enjoy them, never waste your time with people you dont enjoy.

As George Clinton said-

Every thought felt as true
Or allowed to be accepted as true by your conscious mind
Take roots in your subconscious
Blossoms sooner or later into an act
And bears its own fruit
Good thoughts bring forth good fruit
Bullshit thoughts rot your meat
Think right, and you can fly
The kingdom of heaven is within
Free your mind, and your ass will follow

Play on, children

Go to the store, take a look at the non-running-shoe type of shoes, see what you like. Could be boots, could be slick leather Oxfords, a stylin pair of "Monk Straps" (I lurve them, my Harley Davidson boots are like these), or even the old Converse style stand-by, who knows? Same with pants. When you're in the store, resist the urge to go for yet another pair of pants you already have. wink Try some stuff on, and look at yourself in the change-room mirror from several angles. (What is it with guys not trying clothes on??)

Choose something that makes you feel good, that you're comfortable wearing, and that isn't really far off from what you usually wear. If you're trying to spiff up your wardrobe, you don't want to be uncomfortable. That would never work! New clothes should make you feel HOT! biggrin

If you're really not sure what to do, you can always get professional help. I don't mean hiring a sylist or anything like that, but you can try asking the people at the store. It's their job to make people look good, so it's in their best interest to help you find clothes you like that look good on you.

Just my opinion, of course.

yea, i have my zoot suit for the fancy shmancy stuff. and i have my black dickies suit for the clean look. but when it comes to clothes for me its "t-shirt, pants, belt and shoes"
pants=jeans
shirt=t shirt
shoes=whats by the door

i think what i should have asked was "if you could dress me" i need specifics. sad that it is.

Perhaps my chunkmeister-lurve is rubbing off on you! So now can we go kidnap Doc Ock together? ooo aaa

As for the original post, stylistically all I can think of is maybe trimming the beard back, but really that's just a personal aesthetic choice on account of my dad's a big fan of the goatees and as a result they make me nervous. But on all other counts: lookin' good, dude. Oh and remember to smell good.

I think you look good. My only suggestion would be to clean up the facial hair (keep it, just trim). Also, I find a guy that seems confident way more attractive than one who seems to have low self esteem. Not saying that you have low self esteem, just putting it out there. biggrin
