Real Doll Terror

Last night whilst trying to fall asleep after doin' it, my best lady and I were talking about the Real Doll. We decided we'd be afraid to be in the same house as one of them at night, much less sleep in the same room as one of those terrifying things. We kept picturing a Real Doll rising up to murder us in our sleep. I made jokes about the movie Mannequin, but in reality, I was shivering under the blankets, hoping I didn't hear a knock on the door or perhaps some kind of loud thump. ESPECIALLY not the unholy gasping sound that I imagine those things make when they awaken from their dark slumber... (Real, actual terror!) Now I can't sleep for fear of the real doll uprising!

Shouldn't this be in silliness? Anyways, forget real dolls, the ultimate evil mannequin is the Auton!

With the right combination of suspension of disbelief and some sort of intoxicant, that movie is really fucking scary.

i read this excerpt from the real doll instruction manual- printed in harper's:

"always remove the face slowly, working your fingers between velcro pads to separate and going from the outside in....tightening the jaw can be done with a phillips head screwdriver....the neck can be adjusted with an allen wrench...for times when you wish to use your REAL DOLL in the "face down" position, it is highly recommended that you remove her face. this will absolutely save on wear and tear and eyelashes."

so to do her in the ass, you better TAKE OFF HER FACE??? i feel like my powers of abstraction would have to be pretty evolved to fuck something that is both lifeless and without a face and still call it 'real'..

the dolls don't scare me. actually, I think they are quite comical. what scares me is the thought of someone actually fucking this thing and getting off on it. if it was for shits and giggles, yeah...i can see that. but like, really taking care of it, talking to it, making a voice for it...norman bates-styley. that's fucking whacked.

Also, Real dolls creep me out, just like anything with a removable face creeps me out.
