there's a transsexual living around here, she's had the operation and everything.

I met a lovely lady right here on SG, I'm not sure if she wants to be mentioned, but she was born a male and is now fully female. She is one of the most kind and beautiful people I know. She honestly does not look like a "male", and didn't really even prior to the sex change.

On another note: I don't think it's gross for women to look like "men" nor is it if men look like "women". I don't understand why it is disgusting - well I can understand why others might. Not to jump on anyone's back, but...we are socially conditioned in the U.S. to fit into specific gender categories and have sex-based roles because of the construction of gender. So..someone who calls themselves a woman or female, who has a protruding "Adam's apple" is considered "manly" and "unfeminine". Well, it's one thing to give description to someone, and then another thing when there is negative connotation involved. Ehhh... got off the topic...

Anyway, Amanda Lepore looks like she's gotten a lot of plastic surgery, which I think makes ANYONE look artificial.
