For what it's worth, I swallow, but I can understand why some people don't. I've been with guys who tasted so bad I wanted to throw up. It can be a real turn-off for girls/guys just getting used to the idea.

One thing I've never understood about the spit/swallow debate (as a swallower) - ok.. if you've reached the spit / swallow dichotomy (and I'll make an exception for those rare kids with semen allergies, who knew?) you've already got the person's come in your mouth - so you're going to be tasting it anyways.

Spitting gives the impression that you're not into it, although I suppose if you really aren't into it you shouldn't be faking, and it also makes a person feel like they're body's gross. I mean I'm equally against the people who won't go down on girls for similar reasons.

But I guess it all boils down to this - if you're grossed out by swallowing and it makes your partner feel lame you two probably shouldn't be dating - and the same goes if they really ARE that gross (some are) because it really tastes that bad (some do) or they're just not clean. Don't date that person, or break up with them once this unfortunate fact is discovered.

Of course if you don't give a flying fuck whether someone spits or swallows (or the more extreme example - they won't even let you come in their mouth) then by all means keep dating and spraying ropy fountains of come wherever you both see fit. Amen.
