The Wedding Crashers? I dunno if it was "high grossing", though. But yeah, definitely a trend. Even the Wedding Crashers had to advertise itself as some sort of "return to R".

The '70s golden era porn producers also thought porn would go mainstream. I don't think it's going to happen.

Yeah sorry, until I fire up channel 4 at 9pm and see one chick pulling out a set of anal beeds out of another chicks ass with her fuckin' teeth, I'll still stand on the side of belief that porn is alive and doing well in it's still rather NON-mainstream environment.

Unless you are trying to count the shit you see on "Skinamax" cause well. 14 year old chicks read worse than that in thier romance novels. That just don't count.
