PETA doesn't give a fuck how you explain it to children. Their idea of explaining things to children includes this:

YOUR MOMMY KILLS ANIMALS: Peta's New Comic for Kids--A Real-Life Horror Story!

I'm PRETTY certain this is not a joke. If it is? It's a good joke. But if it's not? It's messed-up as hell.

Ok...im all for veggies and vegans...and agree that animals should be treated well...but......have you seen the ranches that they keep dairy and other cattle on...some of them are like cow spa/resorts! I wish I could live there!...on a different note, I drink only soy based milk...It gives me no pleasure, but regular milk gives me great displeasure....lactose=bad!

I think PETA is fucking stupid for creating such ads. If I had a child, and had to explain that ad to him/her, I would be beyond outraged.

Come on, everyone who's calling PETA stupid for making this ad, you should know by now that the ad's already done exactly what PETA intended it to do; it's gotten you talking about it. No such thing as bad publicity and all that.

I know this is PETA's point too, but I'm not buying it. PETA has a hard sell job to do to make people realize the danger of meat consumption and the cruelty to animals inherent in the meat industry, and a lot of that is going to take pretty well-reasoned, accurate persuasion. Their continuing use of tactics that just make them look like jackasses/assholes will hurt this effort more.

I mean, for my part, every time I read about some new dumb-ass thing PETA's done, I want a big, fat steak.

Why can't people pay attention to what they read. it says impotence. Not infertility. Shooting blanks has nothing to do with impotency.

Also even if your statement were relevant as to context it it the equivalent of saying "I have smoked for 20 years and i have never gotten lung cancer.

I don't know if milk causes impotency or not but your single case is meaningless in the debate.
