Accents are great.

I love Scottish ones, more precisely Edinburgh accents. * love love *

Also Canadian ones.

I just found the 'post your voice' thread, so mine is here

That accent makes me so horny.
If I was blind I'd probably fuck anyone who talks to me.

What kind of Hispanic accent? They are all very different. I am half Puerto Rican, but my accent is sadly American. I love to hear Antonio Banderas talk. love

Just out of interest, what's defined as a British accent? There are many regional variations....

Personally, I'd go by this guy's:

An Edinburgh accent (...esp' on a raven headed girl) gets me everytime... but a Glaswegian accent (no matter how good lookin the girl is) makes me want to get up n leave...without them.

n no one can tell me that a broad Scouse accent is sexy.. but there is something that does it for me in a Wolverhampton one- they just sound so... dirty!

Having thought about this, when I was in America everyone thought that I was either Australian, a New Zealander or even South African. Anything but English. In fact in one Bar in California me and my mate put on the accent and they couldn't understand a word we were saying!

The only person who nailed the accent was a GI Bride from roughly the same part of Salford, though she'd lived in the USA for 50 years!

I find it amusing that in America, we love "accents"-whether it's a regional dialect or an inability to speak English properly. Anywhere else in the world, though, don't speak the language fluently...."stupid/ignorant American", "mangling" the language....

It's too bad an American accent isn't considered sexified in foreign countries. Immigrants, be grateful, dammit! You have it made! wink tongue

The accent that's mentioned in the first post is a London type accent. Not all Brits sound like that!

Edited for shitty wording AND spelling...double whammy!

[Edited on Mar 14, 2005 by Neyrissa]

Only us good ones sound like that....although technically I'm from Essex, not London town.

Although I have to put a word in for Cajun women....

As a Brit, with an accent that owes much to growing up in the Midlands (just south of Birmingham) and living in sarf London, I have to say that accent that makes me go weak most is the Texan one. Closely followed by South African.

I have a British accent. In my experience, most of the American girls i have met don't seem to understand me for some reason (perhaps its just me surreal )

i find girls with american accents get me hot, there is something very sexy about it....

I've found the same.
I had loads of trouble the other day asking for water at a restaurant. I had to get someone to 'translate' for me. surreal

That's me, that is. Fack fack fack. I'm stereotypical and common and foul mouthed and I don't care.

I struggle with the idea that Johnny Foreigner finds it attractive, although that's fine with me. Better than fine, actually. It's splendid.

as i believe eddie izzard pointed out, his was more of a mistaken australian accent rather than the intended cockney.

...which leads me to ask... WHICH british accent makes you randy? ...it's not like they all talk the same over there.

I knew this girl once. She was from Tonga. She spoke Japanese, Korean and Spanish with what, at least to me, sounded like a British accent. Very hot.
