My Latin professor is from England. I took the class for shits and giggles originally, then kept taking it because his accent was so lovely to listen to everyday.
Now I just like the class and am a major to boot. But the accent is still wondrous. I never miss that class. Ever.

irish accents...that and whichever Alan Cummings accent is *drool..* and as much as i love the accents (english, irish, russian...so, nice!), all you've gotta do is roll an 'r' and i'm putty...i make it a rule that my male pals can't roll an 'r' unless i ask b/c i get too flustered otherwise

Alan Cummings is Scottish. That's why you'll also see him wearing a kilt when he goes to premeires/interviews. I'm not gay, and even I dig a scot's accent. Connery, Cummings, or Ewan MacGregor... I wear kilts, but MAN I wish I had that accent.
