You forgot a few potential options...

C) talk to her, honestly, and ask her what she wants
D) find a completely different girl whose signals are easier for you to read (I mean, come on, you can't be that into her if you're like "Oh well, maybe I'll just go after her best friend instead")
E) get a bunch of people together, including the girl and her friend, and all go out together and have a good time, and see which one you end up with at the end of the night
F) get the girl and her friend drunk off their asses and attempt to have a threesome
G) hookers and blow

Admittedly, some of these options may be better ideas than others.

You should get paid for this sort of thing.

Go for the friend, it's the best scenario for you. Either you end up with the friend, just as she was actually hoping would happen (Dear god, she might want to see her friend find a little happiness? How absurd...), or you find out she wasn't willing/able to express her actual desire for you and instead tried to use said friend as a game piece, meaning you can move on and leave both behind.

Of course, this is all assuming you're not interested in actually talking to the girl about the mixed signals you're getting and instead just want the easiest ways out.
