Girls won't think of the wheelchair as a turn off if you don't act like you expect them to.
True. I had a huge crush on a boy confined to a wheelchair, and he was mad confident as well as all gorgeous and tattooed. That confidence was extra hot.
My roommate (female) is in a wheelchair permanently, and she has the same problem. the really fantastic thing is, though, that you won't have to deal with (as many) people who only want one thing. You won't get very many shallow people breaking your heart in your situation. Saves you most of the work of weeding out the shallow assholes, right? chin up. If you're a great catch, which I'm sure you are, she'll come along. I know it wouldn't stop me.
Youre right the chair is a good filter. Although, and Im sure your roomate would agree, I miss the feel of anothers skin next to mine. Or just being silly together hanging out. Even if its for one night. Listen to me I sound like such a love sick puppy.
Ill keep my chin up and school starts again in the spring. So who knows what the future will bring. But Ill be sure to keep you all up to date!
