Does age matter to anyone in here? If you were put in a situation whereby you could sleep with someone older or younger, how old is too old and how young is too young? Do you have a preference? Is barely legal a good idea? Maybe you see what Im getting at...?

If they're old enough to be a parent, or young enough to be a child I'm freaked out. Other than that. No.

Age is relevant to the person. It's just a number.

I made the mistake of telling my girlfriend I find Cougars attractive. Luckily, I'm funny, and was able to talk my way out of THAT one! (apparently, she can tell me about HER kinks, but it doesn't go both ways biggrin )
Seriously, my current girl is a year older than me and has two kids. Thats totally fine by me, I'm getting to the age that that should be expected, anyway, and, honestly, I think the world of the girl. I think I'm really falling for her biggrin

Depending on who you knew in high school, this leaves a range that is creepily narrow at best, and celibacy at worst.

In some parts of the country, the age range 9-15 allows you to be both eeek

And which age do we use? My physical age is 32, my mental age is 13 and my emotional age is non-existent.

In the past few years I've dated 5 years older, 7 years younger and have been chatted up by a granny and a jailbait. My preference tends to be within 5 years either way of my own age, but at the moment unexpectedly appear to have crush on a 19 year old! surreal

It's just a number. Either you're rad or you aren't. Another birthday ain't gonna change much.

I completely fucked that up.
It should have read....

Old enough to be "my" parent, young enough to be "my" child.

Idk man, a 60 year old dating a 19 year old doesnt seem kinda "off" to you?

Although I agree that age does not equal maturity.

Hey!
My wife said I could "trade her in for 3 20 year old women" when she turns 60. I'll be 77 I hope I remember the deal. Now where are my car keys, glasses, and hat?

Being 19, I can't go under around 17 on girls, but age matters very little. Maturity is the biggest thing, and older women, I would probably cap that off at around 35, but finding somebody with similar interests or getting along is a little harder to find. haha; : )

Dunno, I think that what matters much more to me is what they have to say than their age. Though I can't imagine someone having something so interesting to say that it would distract me from my current extended fling.

My current interest is almost 11 years older than me and it doesnt bother me in the slightest. Ive dated men and women both older and younger than me, so long as they can keep good conversation and are fun to be around I couldnt care less how old they are.

I can't really go much younger.
People tend to get too immature, and my maturity level tends to be higher than most people my age.

As far as older goes, it depends on the person.
Just... not older than, like, my birthmum. Haha.
