I've never had nuts, haha, but I shave the kitty with unscented soap. Just plain, regular soap. Key is to use a really sharp (ie, newish) razor, and use cocoa butter after. Not a cream with a little cocoa butter in it, but pure cocoa butter. Keeps the bumps and the ow away smile

I use conditioner and let it set for a minute or two. It clogs up the razor like crazy but you get a nice clean shave.

Any drug store. The most popular brands are Queen Helene and Palmer's and they're in with all the other body lotions. I personally recommend antiperspirant/deodorant instead. I use Secret invisible solid to prevent ingrowns and razor burn.

Oh as for razorburn I get this stuff at Walmart called Bikini Zone. And I don't really get razorburn around my box but I kinda get it a lot under my arms so I use it there instead and taa-daaaaa! Works like a charm.

ok. man to man........"shaving your hoohoos.: eeek eeek mad eeek eeek

i'm a very hairy guy, so i know a lot about shaving this and that. never used a razor on my berries, but hey thats your deal.

anyway, i have such a problem with shaving my face every day that i have gone to taknig a hot hot bath at night and sinking down under the water till just my nose is exposed and soaking my poor mug in the hot water for about 10 minutes. this softens the skin and hair a lot and makes it easier to shave afterwards. i expect this method would be ideal for you since you don't shave your luggage every day (at least i hope not).

anyway, i;ve gone over to using Aveeno shaving cream, which comes in unscented and otherwise. its the best shave cream/gel that i've ever tried....and i've tried ALOT of them.

and the advice on using a newish razor is correct. since you won't be doing it every day, i suggest using a brand new blade every time.

speaking of blades, thats your most important thing to consider. i use and swear by Gillette Turbo Mach 3.

both of these things are more expensive than some of the other stuff, but this is a case where 'you get what you pay for' applies in spades.

I've always stuck with a close trim with a beard trimmer or whatever. I guess that doesn't really answer your question... ever tried shaving cream with aloe or menthol? The menthol might be a bit much for the genitals.
How many women have you've dated that preferred shaved over trimmed?

i also use conditioner, maybe even a deep conditioner would work better. if i get really bad razor burn, i just put neosporin on it. it definately makes the pain go away (use the pain relief kind), and it seems to make the razor burn better. oh, and dont scratch it....it will make it way worse. dont worry though, after you have been shaving for a while, it will get better. your skin will get used to it. good luck!!

Oh do you really want to shave your sack? I say nay, why man why?!?! Think about it...itchy ingrown hairs...and and balls are wrinkly and wrinkly bits are easy to nick while shaving. Abort abort! Trim instead and that's just dandy.

I personally use shampoo or glycerin soap when i shave--which isn't often--I prefer brazillian waxing instead, and I'm told that men get the brazillian done more often than women in San Francisco. If you must shave I found some great advice on the subject online, but they recommend not using soap as it dries the skin.

Here it is:
Trim
To make this process easier, trim the genital area before applying the razor! You’ll save blades this way and be able to see what you are doing. To get a closer cut and avoid unwanted nicks, just pull the hair up then trim away. If you are new to the whole shaving thing, you may want to leave the hair short for a couple of days. This allows the genitals to become comfortable with the transition you are about to make and some people find that they actually like the crew-cut look.

Soak
Take a long hot shower or bath, or lay a warm cloth over the area for about 10 minutes. This softens coarse pubic hair and makes it easier to shave. It is especially important to soak your piece in warm water if you are planning on shaving your balls. If your balls are too cold they will scrunch up and be impossible to stretch out (which you need to do to shave them).

Lather
Don’t attempt to shave your pubes dry—ouch! If you do, pain and irritation will most likely follow. Use shaving cream or gel to lather the pubic area. It is important to not use soap, as soap can really dry your skin and doesn’t make the best buffer for the razor.

Shave
Now you are lathered up you are ready to go. Think about how you want to style it before you start and be as creative as you desire (I’ve heard tales of lover’s initials, rainbows and palm trees). Most people go for either the total bald deal or the landing strip, ala Playboy. It is recommended to shave the same way the hair grows, at least in the beginning. Yes, if you shave against the grain, you will get a closer shave, but it is much harsher on your skin and will probably lead to more red bumps and irritation. In addition, don’t stroke the same area over and over as this may irritate the skin. Two to three short strokes are ideal. Lastly, stretch the skin to shave the softer bits (labia, scrotum etc . . . ). And please, use a fresh, sharp razor! The older and duller a razor is the more likely you are to cut yourself. Take it slow. If you are careful you should have no problems, but if you rush, you may find yourself with some nasty cuts and Band-Aids are a hassle on your cooter. A note to first timers: The pubic area is sensitive and may take time to adjust to the razor. Once a week is a good idea for your first month. Eventually you will probably want to shave every few days or more to keep it smooth.

Moisturize
After the shave is completed, wash, rinse, dry, and moisturize the freshly shaven pubic area. Baby oil and aloe vera are two suggestions. Olive oil also works well. Don’t use moisturizers that contain fragrances and colors, since this may cause irritation. In addition, you may want to powder the area afterwards for comfort. Don’t use products that include talcum, as it can cause irritation and has been linked to ovarian cancer.

Maintain
Wash your shaved genitals on a daily basis. This helps remove unwanted oils and sweat. In addition, you may wish to moisturize and powder the area daily to avoid irritation. If you keep the hair short, you’ll avoid stubble, which causes itching. Try to wear cotton underwear and to stay away from tight fitting pants. The lack of air circulation and friction of tight clothes may lead to ingrown hairs. Some people suggest that you go without undies for the first couple of days to give your bits a little breathing room.

Wow, i think i'm gonna bookmark this, This is like the all in one on shaving your junk i've ever seen lol. Thanks guyz, i'm gonna try this stuff out.... Ohh and for those of you who ask why. Aside form the obvious sexual advantages, its a must do if you go commando all the time cuz i'm getting tired of zipping up my pubes (shit that hurts) plus its been kinda my pet project for the past month, so i'm sure in about 5 months i'll be back to the old aborigine w/ a frow and a big nose look again.

well anyways i'm probly misspelling tons of words cuz i've been up for 27 hrs straight... time for bedtime.

the unscented deodorant helps keep the razor burn/bumps down after you shave. I say don't shave the sack b/c if you miss a day or two, your significant other will hate you. short prickly hairs=bad news during sex. plus you will itch like a mad man. i say trim, but if you must shave, i'm with the people who say to use an expensive, new razor, lots of soaking, and soap. nothing works better

I use unscented deodorant after I shave down there. It helps from getting ingrown hairs. I first read that tip in Jane magazine, it really works too. I have never been waxed, yikes! eeek. I use conditioner to shave with mostly because I am too cheap to buy shaving cream but also because it is suppose to work really good. Also I do not have a nut sack so I can't really help you in that area.
