When my girlfriend and I first met and began having sex, she completely surprised me in the middle of our lovemaking by vocally expressing a desire for me to ejaculate inside her. Fill me up, she said. As I was wearing a condom at the time, we were both obviously quite aware of the impossibility of the request, but what really surprised me in spite of that fact is how arousing and hot the suggestion was to me. Caught up in the moment and the both of us already in the middle of active sex talk, I indicated that I'd be glad to do so.

We talked about it afterward and it was agreed that the gesture was purely an arousing fantasy and something neither of us really wanted in reality. Though on an intellectual level we didn't mean it, on some very primal level we did. It really got me thinking. Intercourse is, of course, designed for procreation--- even if we take precautions, use birth control, and circumvent the final result---the biological purpose of intercourse is to create a pregnancy. Since there's something very primal and animalistic about sex, I wonder if there's also meant to be something arousing about the suggestion of the act of impregnation.

Do you agree/disagree? If you agree, do you have similar stories to share?

Way to take the fun out of it.

Uh, ignore my knee-jerk opinion, because it's unimportant, but reading about your sexual fantasies while occasionally glancing over at your userpic was a little creepy.

I think you only need to look as far as the stereotype of the string-of-kids lothario to see the truth in this. On a base level men seem to have some resonance with thinking of impregnation in a "trophy" sense, and the flip side is shame if one is seen as being unable to impregnate a woman.

There are also at least three flavors of kink relative to porn involving things like "cream pies" and the like, so it's almost certainly an erotic trigger. It is likely even one big sub-continuum in human arousal, with things like bukkake fitting in there somewhere.

I find it hugely off-putting:

That being said, it makes sense what you say regarding the innate procreative urge - I am probably strange to be so turned off by it.

I guess I'm the odd-man-out on this one : I have fantasized about impregnation, be it alone or during sex.

The way I've thought of it is "marking my territory" - I don't know many guys in my circle who would want sloppy seconds, pounding or eating. Or they just haven't fessed-up to the idea.

It is a hot idea to know I'm virile enough to make a kid, but reality ALWAYS sets in after-the-fact. I'm nobody's baby-daddy (that I know of so Thank GOD!) and nowhere near ready to be there just yet.

I don't think it's the circle you would want to avoid - it's my intellectualized sexual discussions you need to close your ears for.

Thoughts and fantasies will always remain that for me - never something to follow through with.

HAH! Didn't see that coming...

Back to the point at hand. I think primal urges and instincts figure hugely in everyday life in general, but especially in the bedroom, since procreation isn't really any kind of survival trait for the unit - only the greater good. I find (as I'm sure do 99.9% of the male population of earth) that point of no return is the couple of seconds when we all want leave the little guy exactly where he is and I'm not really sure exactly why. I'm not sure what to make of the fact that you were wearing a rubber when she requested that you fill her up, maybe she'd seen to many bad pornos and just thought that's how you make sexy talk?

I don't find it at all strange to be turned off by the possibility or threat of impregnation.

Yes, but that was never part of the original design. Don't ask me how I know. I just do.

I dunno .... I find it really fucking hot. Especially if the guy says he wants to. Granted, I better be on the pill when he does it, otherwise we're in fucking trouble.

“Fill me up” or “cum inside me” does not always equal “get me pregnant.”
