Going home with "something" at last call.

You're out on the prowl for companionship at a local bar or club and so far, you've come up empty all night. It's 1:45, the place is shutting down, and all the good deals have long since left. Your beer goggles are firmly in place and the person at the end of the bar looks "okay" to you at the moment. In your head you realize your only chance of getting some tonight is either a) the thing at the end of the bar, whatever it may look like in the morning, or b) your right hand.

Who else has been in this situation, and which did you choose?

hmm. Well, i usually dont leave the house with the intention of looking for ass. If your that hard up then thats what fuck-buddies are for, so you dont have to stand in that particular pile of filth you just described....you just pick up the phone. In the event that you have not managed to set up such an arrangement, then I would suggest you get out of the bar asap. That "thing" at the end of the bar is your future trainwreck more times than not. After all, a good sex life is the result of patience and tasteful persistance imo.

It didn't take me long to learn that B is always the best option in such a situation.

But I've also dropped the pre-conceived notion that the focus of going out to bar must result in getting laid or else you're a personal failure. Fucking Hollywood.

that said..if they are sittin there when the ugly-lights are about to come on and they aren't employed there....you might want to ask yourself how often this particular scenario has occured previously with this potential object of your sad,lonely,drunken charms.

Well, you grew up having most people be taller than you. I think it's easier for men like you than it is for most.
