Everything about him is looong. He's a foot taller than I am, and he's got long arms, legs, hands, fingers, toes... He's just long all over. -He is straightforward to the point of seeming almost rude, to some people. To me, it's just a reminder that he DOES NOT lie. He is completely honest.
-He helps me do leg stretches and washes my feet for me in the shower- both things which are very hard for me due to degenerative arthritis. This one makes me teary-eyed with appreciation sometimes.
-He never gives presents for birthdays or the "expected" holidays, but he does the kindest things or comes up with the best gifts when people are least expecting them.

As others have said in this thread, I could go on forever.
What I can say, though, is that we're ridiculously well-matched. I don't think we've ever had a full blown fight. Not because we keep it all inside, but because we agree on enough and can agree to disagree on the rest. I watch our friends with their spouses or significant others, and it blows my mind to see the manipulation, pettiness, demanding behavior, and outright warring that goes on between so many people who apparently love each other a lot.
I feel incredibly fucking lucky to be in a relationship that's truly functional.
