If you don't know about this story, I really recommend checking it out.

A couple is shunned by their village and goes to live in a remote mountaintop cave. He was 10 years younger than her and she was a widow with children. He carved by hand 6000 steps over many years so she would be able to get up and down the mountain more easily. They lived there for 50 years. He died yesterday.

The article explains it a bit better. It really touched me when I read about them last year. I am sad to hear it ends for now.
