Is there a Female Refracatory Period? How long does it last?

Tossing out females that are "multiple orgasmic". How long does it take most females to orgasm again after having a regular orgasm?

So how long after an orgasm - generally? 5 minutes, 30 seconds, 30 minutes?

if it's really heated and passionate then she could have orgasms so close together you would think that it was just one big orgasm

Sorry, but my girl has really big ogasms(I have talked to her and she said it is only one big O) and then is too wiped out/non interested(physically not mentally) to start again.

Then that might be all she's capable of having....

NO - I haven't seen/read anything about a Female Refrac. period anywhere(there is much on the male refrac period) and I thought I would ask some peoples comments on their experiences since this is probably not something I can easily bring up to most of my friends

So your saying I know that everyone is different - right? Couldn't that be used for most any post - that everyone is different? Why do people even post anything according to your logic? We could all just say that we have different experienses and leave it at that - seems kind of a waste of a good dialogue. So maybe the reason why I posted was to get other peoples views and judging from the above list of people who answered honestly - they have different out comes...or just what I said above

I haven't heard the term "Refractory Period" since my awkward 8th grade sex-ed class.

Usually takes me about 10mins after the first one, then they can be pretty close together from then on.

So what does she like to do or to have done to her after she comes?

My experience is that some relaxed after-play can easily turn into another fore-play. Usually, there are plenty of other body parts to be touched, kissed or spanked (depending on personal preferences) while her "hot spots" are over- or de-sensitized.

Then again, she might prefer to take a nap instead. Or have a big meal. Or run a marathon. People, they are so annoyingly different.

Like everyone has said, every woman and even every sexual encounter is different. Sometimes I can have a few within a few minutes of each other, but sometimes I have one that leaves me so sensitive that any more contact is actually painful. And not in the fun way.

there is technically no refractory period for women. i just took a great human sexuality class, and i was surprised to learn that myself, i just thought it was faster then men's. but no, there is not one, hypothetically it is possible a woman could achieve orgasm after orgasm but there are obviously a ton of factors that go into that being plausible.

And that's another reason why women suck. How can you properly and adequately brag to your friends when you never know when one orgasm ends and the next one starts?

One of my friends says she rarely goes past one, even though she CAN start right away again, just because the first wears her out so much and whenever she tries for more they consecutively lose intensity.

And that few guys respect this because they seem to think if a girl can do more, she should do more or she is somehow losing out.
