I suppose you can just make the claim "What's the difference, they're all public pictures on the internet, just because it's on the front page instead of in a user's profile doesn't make it any less public." To me however, it's kind of like looking through the window of somebody's house when they're doing the deed. Sure... it's public... but it's in THEIR house.... or in this case... In THEIR profile. Should I tell these people what I'm doing? Should I not tell them to avoid possible embarrassment? Maybe I should get permission...

No, you should not tell them what you're doing. But permission isn't necessary either.

And everyone, models and members alike, are "three-dimensional personalities." It's fine to objectify an image that you're wanking off to, but it's also pretty important to remember that people are never just their images.

And this has been done before. The consensus the first time was that it's creepy to ask permission, just do whatever you will. Nobody needs to know. See, I was going to play devil's advocate and tell him that he should ask permission, but I thought it would be mean to help someone get zotted should people find him overly creepy, when he seems to be trying to be nice.

I don't find the vague idea of someone jerking to my pictures offensive or creepy, but if someone came out and told me that they were, it might become kinda weird to me.

Honestly, the girls on this site have to be intelligent enough to realize that if they put naked pictures up, there will be men (and women!) looking at them. If you are uncomfortable knowing someone strange man could be fapping to you, you should not post pictures.
