My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 6 years.

Recently when we have sex, I end up in a great deal of pain for at least a day or two. My insides hurt and it's so painful that it's difficult to walk or get up, or move around in general. Even sitting down hurts.

I'm starting to wonder if I have PID (Pelvic Inflammatory Disease) because it's my cervix that hurts so bad.

The problem here is...I am unemployed (house wife) and the boyfriend was canned, wrongfully and I was never placed on his insurance. I would really like to go to the girly Dr and have them look and make sure everything is ok down there, but I'm not super big on going to free clinics and we are broke...and when I say broke I MEAN broke.

Is it just too deep of penetration? Is it because there is no foreplay for me before hand? What is making my sexual experience a pain in my cervix??? (That was supposed to be a joke but I'm in too much pain to laugh).

Please help! frown

Okay, so I'm a guy....BUT...I have a friend who had a similiar problem. I would bite the bullet and go to the free clinic if I were you. There are so many things that could cause this (because my friend was mis-diagnosed three times), that you ought not mess around and end up regretting it in the long run.

ok after reading that i almost started to cry, mainly because one of the first things that i read (after i read all of the symptoms that i seem to have), i read about it possibly causing infertility.

i am DYING to have children (especially right now)

i sent that link to my boyfriend to let him see what could possibly be causing my painful sex. thank you for your help graphics

if anyone else has any thoughts, I will very much appreciate any additional help before i head to the "gulp" free dr.

Could be something as simple as a symptom free yeast infection. My sister-in-law gets them and doesn't realize it until she tries to have sex. But yes, get thee to a doctor ASAP.

Injury, infection, endometriosis.. it could be any number of things. Wouldn't it make you feel better if you knew?

Pain is your body's way of telling you something is wrong. Go to a doctor. Go to Planned Parenthood -- most have low-cost services or deferred payment/billing options.

And now might not be the best time to try to have kids - with your and your boyfriend's situations right now. Just a thought.

Chlamydia, dude.

Seriously, get it checked out if you want kids. It could be any number of things, including the clap, that could cause infertility if left untreated.

Maybe the man in question got a procedure done and didn't tell you?

Maybe he wished upon a shooting star and his wish came true?

Maybe... Just maybe... One of these big pee-pee jokes will be funny...

Maybe not today...

Maybe not tomorrow...

But someday...

You could have a bacterial infection PID is I think what results from an untreated std. I also have had pain from intercourse which makes me not want to do it boo but I learned that I have a tilted cervix.... everyone is different you just have to find positions that work or you do the work so you can control the penetration....... either way you can go to a community gyn and it will be cheaper get some welfare if you arent too proud smile happy humping kiss dont have babies till you are financially secure as well Im sure you know that

get to planned parenthood. they charge on a sliding scale based on your household income. if you are un employed it is free. i make about 1000 dollars a month and all my shit is still free. if they need to refer you elsewhere they can then help you find the right avenues to finance that also.

it can be many things, no foreplay low lubrication, to deep of penetration infection, endometriosis (which for some never really is a problem) bladder infection, and STD. so before you just sit around and google and make a self diagnosis i would just go get a real professional medical opinion. i

Why don't you like to go to the free clinic? I'm curious why someone would rather ask the internet than go and see a doctor.

I used the free clinic for the entire time I was in college and up until about 6 months ago because I didn't have health insurance. I have honestly never met nicer people. They are still doctors...they're just doctors who donate their time to help those with money issues.

You need to go get checked out. We aren't going to be a whole lot of help to you.

well this is a place for sex talk. i don't go to the internet looking for a diagnosis. I was simply asking for ideas on why sex could cause pain.

i'm taking my behind to a free clinic (swallowing my "pride")

rude comments are very unappreciated. this site has a LOT of women on it who may have the same situation as i do..hence the reason me asking the question here first.

chill people, i'm not stupid. puke

That comment didn't really seem rude to me, and she's right. Taking medical advice you got on a porn site could be dangerous.
