Hmm. Do I like whores? If I say yes, I'm a horrible person because I objectify women and pay them to have sex with me, which contributes to a culture of feminine repression by reinforcing the idea that a woman's place is on her back. If I say no, then I am a horrible person because I don't believe that a woman's body is hers to do with as she wishes and here we are back on this feminine repression thing.

Yeah, prostitutes are great. I don't like the word whores, too derogatory. Korean, Philipino, Russian, German, Brazilian, you get to know lots of interesting prostitutes when you travel the world a bit. It's great when you don't have anyone to be able to pay someone to spend an hour or a night with you. Maybe not the best way, but it sure beats becoming a bitter woman-hating loser or a rapist or something.

If we are talking sex-for-money whores -- then I say yay to it beiong acceptable, nay to it being for me. I will pay for a lap dance, and buy one for my wife, but anything mroe intimate than that shoudl come from the heart -- not the wallet. My stripper friends with whom my wife and I have had sex find it weird that I won't buy lap dances from them anymore. But once I've been intimate with someone (for free), I can't pay for even marginal sexual contact. it cheapens everything.

If, however, the phrase "whore" is simply a synonym for "dirty little slut," then I vote a resounding unqualified yes!!!! As I've discussed elsewhere on this site, one of the biggest problem facing half of the male population is their inability to integrate their "madonna" fetish and their "whore" fetish. As a result, many men (particularly Roman Catholics) try to find one woman they can love and respect and marry and raise children with (their "madonna"). They never try to indulge sexual fantasies with that woman. Instead, they have a "whore" on the side who indulges all of their kinkiest fantasies.

Personally, I believe that the woman you love and respect shoudl be your filthy little whore. If you can integrate the two, without reseravtions on either side, you may very well have foudn your soulmate.

Well said Sin. I second everything you have said. I think that sexual liberty is something that is wonderful, healthy and the right of every person, male and female alike.

If we as a culture can once and for all throw off the repressive shackles of our puritanical lineage I firmly believe that a lot of hang-ups and problems in how men and women relate to and treat each other would be eased.

I hope someday more people can embrace the healthy and empowering attitudes such as that espoused in works like The Ethical Slut: A Guide to Infinite Sexual Possibilities.

Well, I agree. If whores means something like dirty slut or somesuch... then I must indeed say Yea!
As long as a person is doing it because they love to, and not fill some emotional void, then it's all good. I've met too many folks that sleep around because they're looking for something... as opposed to doing it 'cause they like sex and variety.
