Armpit Sniffer!

I watched this thing on tv where they were discussing pheramones and they did this experiment where they took sweat from all these different guys armpits and put them in different tubes.

Then they had a bunch of different girls smell them. The ladies recoiled in horror from some of the tubes while others they claimed to smell nothing at all. However, each woman smelled differently so what was disgusting for girl #1 smelled like nothing to girl #2

to make a long story short. They've discovered that not only are people attracted to pheramones. Different people are attracted to different ones. Maybe that's why the human race is so good at procreating.....

I have to admit....the smells from healthy people _really_ turn me on.plus armpit/pube sniffing is usually met with much giggling....

anyway, i think its true, i find some guys smell amazing when theyre all raw and sweaty while others can smell like shit.

Which then begs the question... How much of our taste in partners is predetermined by our genes and how much is something we gather through the years.

phermones only work for sex. so if you are with someone purely for sex, then genes probably have a lot to do with it. if you are with someone for other reasons, like common interests, intelligence, humor, looks. then that could be from life experience.

i know i was with a few girls whom i had rocking sex with. totally animalistic stuff. but other than that, there wasn't really a connection. i didn't want to be in a relationship with these people. but the scent and the sexx was great.

hmm...i wonder if what we smell of ourselves when we're sweaty is what other people smell as well...

this may seem weird, but i've always wondered if, say, i see the table as green, other people may see the table as green as well, but would our preception of the color "green" be the same? like, if i could somehow look through someone else's eyes, their "green" could be "blue" to me but its what they've always precieved as green...is anyone following me LOL

I can't help it, I simply love to sniff my lover's scent. If she/he were to wear deoderizor I think I would be offended. To other animals scent is crucial. Obviously, our olfactory capibilities are not as pronounced as, say, a dog, but odor transmits a potent chemical message--one that could transmit a cue to come hither ( thinking of the way my lover's skin smells under the warmth of the sun) or get the fuck away (thinking grizzly bear fur after they've rolled in rotten salmon carcasses).

Also, there is a study being conducted to determine whether dogs can detect cancer in humans through scentl. The sense of smell in canids is about 500 times greater than humans and preliminary results indicate that dogs can indeed detect disease in humans.

And, more evidence of the potency of smell...female noctuid moths transmit a pheremone that male noctuids can detect up to four miles away!

Since O can smell sickness in her man perhaps she has super human olfactory capibilities !

thi smakes perfect sense to me, all this armpit lust. if you really like someone and are compatiblee with him/ her, you love the way they smell. you know, like a lot of times even when they think they smell horrible you're all 'nono it's okay you don't need to shower -- wanta fuck?'
