I had to think about this a lot... it is 100% dependent on the person... and like Shalome said... what foods he has been eating... totally effects this be it good or bad... I had a friend who took some herbal thing... made 'um smell like maple syrup! tongue

There have been some men who had quite enjoyable boy-smells. I could have happily cuddled with the armpit of one boy, and loved it when the sheets smelled of him. And one boy also got away with finding an Axe scent I found appealing.

But the B.O. really depends on the boy. Maybe it depends on their diet or something, I have no idea.

I think so. Since I started eating healthy (vegetarian w/ seafood, organic-when-possible), I've basically stopped wearing deodorant because my girlfriends would kill me if I changed my smell. In fact, I ended up wearing deodorant around one recent ex-girlfriend because that way I could have conversations with her.

Geek smell, conversely, is made up of Cheeto dust, Mountain Dew leftovers, and fast food. No big surprise that unwashed geeks can often really, really reek. I smell just as bad when I stop taking care of myself.

If you want to learn about women, read some self help books, shape magazine, or some other womens magazine.

If you want to learn about women, hang around with women (you know, not just because you're trying to score with them).

I don't do deodarant. I always tend to notice the aroma of canibus and burnt chocolate eminating from my armpits.

I'm adamant about using deordorant and smelling 'neutral'. I don't like huge fragrances on me, but I will spritz some Kenneth Cole Black once in awhile.

I'm afraid of being one of "those" guys on the subway......8 in the morning and smelling like pure ass..

You are not Matthew McConaughey. The only reason he got that reaction is because he's Matthew McConaughey.

It's 113 degress outside my house. I promise that I don't want my boyfriend going out there withouth deodorant.

You're right, he doesn't have to run around all day in bunker gear. I cringe at the thought of my stench after a run if I didn't have deoderant on, it's bad enough WITH deoderant.

The smell of my bunker gloves will knock a healthy man out at five paces.

You'd think it wouldn't take a genius, wouldn't you?

I've loved many smells of a women but it was just their natural smell, not sweat smell. Now that I think about it, I've only noticed sweaty smell from a girl once (not including sex sweat) & well, I should have put my boot in my mouth because I told her deodorant is a good thing....she then preceded to roll down all the windows in the car & said she wasn't angry at me...

As Homer Simpson once explained, "When a woman says nothing's wrong, that means everything's wrong. And when a woman says everything's wrong, that means everything's wrong! And when a woman says something's not funny, you'd better not laugh your ass off!"

Personally, I quite prefer the intoxicating aroma of Bod. The name alone is a turn-on

puke

I don't generally like cologne on men, but this friend of mine used to wear some cheap-o cologne called Joop and it mixed with his body chemistry in some sort of amazing way that made being near him a nearly orgasmic experience.

As for deodorant, I agree that clean sweat is a turn on and my husband has very little body hair so he doesn't ever really need deodorant at all and we live in Arizona. However, I have been with some people (men and women) that really, really needed something. For those who do, I think unscented is the best option.... along with a good pit hair shaving. Something about dangly little bits of deodorant desperately trying to do their work as they're clinging to wiry armpit hairs is just a real turn-off.
