I'm lost

Right, I did a cursory serach, and didn't really know where to post this, and I hope I'm not bordering on copyright infringement, if I am, then I'll cease and desist all stuff like this.

But...

The movie Dead man has my favourite soundtrack ever, I normally don't like Neil Young, but it's just so haunting. So I got hold of the soundtrack CD today and to my dissapointment, the title track does not appear anywhere on the CD!

I really hope this isn't a dumb question, and I had a look on google, but the crap it's thrown up is like some form of maze I just can't be arsed to navigate. So is there a piece of software out there that'll let me rip selected audio from a DVD into an mp3? I don't have any kind of audio software other than Winamp and the shit that ships with windows, and I've never really looked into this kind of thing before.

So if anyone feels like taking pity on a damb ass, I'd much appreciate it.

Edited for shocking spelling.

The easy thing to do, actuallly, might be to just play the DVD in your computer and turn on Windows Sound Recorder at the appropriate point, and then save the .WAV file for conversion to MP3 later.

I have never tried it but apparently DVD Audio Extractor is good for the job. I have no idea if it's any good but it has a 30 day free trial.

Hope that's some help.
