i was working at tower records a couple months ago, and these two really old people came in and wanted to buy the op ivy discography and transplants chopped and screwed. i told them" hey op ivy is great, I grew up with this record." they said their son was in the band. turns out they were tim armstrongs parents. there were no customers cause it was so early in the morning, so they hung around and told me tons of old stores. fuckin hilarious. the east bay is a small small world.
