Billboard is reporting that LA rock "supergroup" Velvet Revolver will be working with Neptunes main-man and sneaker entrepreneur Pharrel Williams. Details of the collaboration have yet to be revealed, however considering Williams' track-record with pretty much everyone he has ever worked with, expect at least one hit off VR's upcoming album.

Won't it be amusing to see Scott Weiland wiggling down the street a la Gwen Stefani in the "Hollaback Girl" video? I am getting ahead of myself. Weiland talked to Billboard about the thought going into the band's next full length

With the first record, it was kind of a feeling out process on a technical level. We were sort of bonded by blood in a sense, because we'd gone through very similar circumstances. On this record, I have a real concept in mind. Because of that, it will be a very album-oriented record instead of a singles-driven record.

"Little skateboard P" is also on board to help Weiland with a song entitled "Happy" that may appear on a future solo record. Maybe he will shimmy in that video instead.
