I'm just happy that it's still a guitar-bass-drums kind of album. From some of their comments in interviews, I was worried they were going to pull a Kid A or something on this one. The thing I like most about them is how Nick brings the noise.

I rate it. Fever To Tell kind of irritated me. When it was good, it was spectacular (think Date With The Night, Maps), but when it was boring, it was bloody terrible. Show Your Bones shows a consistent dedication to songcraft, and it's got some great lyrics happening. It's a reverse Sophomore Slump, which is a good - and rare - thing to see.
