That song takes me back to my senior year of highschool, good times (in theory). I was sort of going through a Filter phase around then as well as learning more about songwriting and music. I remember Richard Patrick saying about that song that "A monkey could sing over the music and it would still sound good" (or something close to that, so I guess that wasn't a 100% quote). He was pretty confident about his jams.
