Whenever I hear the Buzzcocks I start thinking... why I am not nor having sex with the Buzzcocks blaring right now.

It's true.

I used to have this great Buzzcocks compilation tape someone made for me in the 80's. Ironically, he was definitely someone I shouldn't have fallen in love with... but they are great... Thanks for reminding me how much I dug them...now I need to visit Amoeba and re-up!

When I was recording my album last year, I had the sound guy stop me in between singing takes. He asked me if I liked the buzzcocks. I said yes. He said "I could tell."

It was a wonderful, wonderful moment.

It really is one of the most solid albums ever. It's just made up of the 7" singles they put out over the 70's, so there is a range in the songs.

Of all the late 70's punk bands, the Buzzcocks are second only to the Ramones and the Undertones in my book

Definitely along with the RAMONES and the UNDERTONES, one of main elements that influenced many pop-punk acts (when it was a good word.)

I remember seeing when the BUZZCOCKS got back together in the 80's. I think one show, I saw them with Mike Joyce on drums.

Different Kind Of Tension

Why doesn't anybody ever mention this album when they talk about the Buzzcocks? A fantastic album with great songs such as I Don't Know What To Do With My Life, Paradise, You Know You Can't Help It, Mad Mad Judy, and a bunch more. I think is one of the most underrated punk/power-pop albums there is.
