Yea, I like the songs I've heard of his a lot. I know what you mean though, they can be depressing. I have to not allow myself to listen to a lot of stuff sometimes. But yea, I only know Amie, and The Blower's Daughter. What else of his is good? Cheers, Darlin' I gather, but what else?

his voice is very personal and unadulterated -- shaky and vulnerable. it's kind of right in your face like the beautiful part of pain. i like it. i like it a lot.

and i'm in LOVE with, i think her name is Lisa Hannigan, the singer who accompanies him on tracks here and there. her voice makes me weak. she makes me wish i was a microphone

i love "O". my mom actually bought that cd, only because we share his last name, and then she didn't like it soo she gave it to me.

I've disliked him ever since I saw him at Glastobury. He was terrible

My ex-fiancee's name was Amie, and when I heard his song, I was very emotinally attatched to the lyrics.
The entire album is amazing,,,I'm still waiting on the follow-up.

Blowers Daughter was the best thing about the movie "Closer". (Though it really wasn't a bad movie).

it's weird. i went through this phase where i listened to that album all the time and i loved it...

and then one day i was just kinda over it. and now i can't really listen to it anymore.

i still think it's great, it's just not doing it for me.
