Worst Beatle song OR Best Beatle cover

"Yesterday" is probably one of my least fav. songs in their whole catalouge, but there are 62 zillion covers of it, all of which I can't stand.

Wow, they completely slipped my mind. And I agree, they're rad.

Honey Pie and all the other Paul songs besides "Helter Skelter" on the White Album.

Gotta agree with Cocker's version of "A Little Help From My Friends" as being the best cover.

Obi di Obla da is one of the worst songs ever. I'm still shocked the band let that one see the light of day.

Uh... best cover, hard to say. I'm not a fan of covers usually. I can list a few I hated, but that isn't the question.

I can't take Beatles covers seriously because it seems like they're so, I don't know, iconic and pervasive.

So my favorite Beatles covers are the lame '60s covers by movie and TV stars, like Mae West's cover of "Twist and Shout" and William Shatner's cover of "Lucy In the Sky With Diamonds."

Just out of interest, the BBC commissioned a bunch of folk to cover songs from the White Album as part of a tribute to John Lennon on the anniversary of his death last year. Tracklisting is on the BBC website here

I forgot about all the great soul and R&B covers of Beatles stuff... the Four Tops do a good Michelle, and I love Booker T and the MG's Eleanor Rigby.
