Brian Eno is selling off some of his gear, including his famously beat-up Yamaha DX7. From the auction description:
he DX7 is one of the most successful of all electronic instruments, but there have been surprisingly few musicians associated with it as their main instrument. The biggest exception by far is Brian Eno, who famously used it as his main keyboard for many years, making many recordings with it as a main source of sounds. This was alsothe era of his producing some of the biggest records in rock history, including all those classic U2 songs. THe DX-7 is quite a difficult instrument to master, but Eno was for more than a decade the acknowledged master.
There will be four banks of Eno's "fully authenticated" sounds, as well.
