um.

whatever

um.

there is nothing unique here..

do you get what I mean?

it's not bad. but I would'nt listen to it again recorded like that. sounded like normal music played in a bucket of mud.

then again, I don't like shouty metal much.

are you going for a fear factory type thing?

I played 2 songs.

I would rate this somewhere between "unlistenable" and "horriblycraptastic".

look man, the one thing you really won't get from SG is happy go lucky, yeah your awesome feedback,

you wanted to know and now you know.

you guys can play, but what your playing is not going over so well.

maybe if your singer did'nt sound like he was having a huge shit and realised that playing fast does not equal playing well..........

You guys are pretty good... it's not my kind of music though! And as long as you have fun playing...it's cool!

I don't know about the "bucket of mud", but the recording could be better! Hell, I know how hard it is to get a good quality demo...ours is pretty bad, we recorded it in our rehearsel room with "Sonar" Sofware and some other software. What do you guys use...or did you pay shitloads of money to go in a recording studio.

You can check out our stuff at www.portch.de!

Ciao...

If you're speaking from personal experience of shitnoise then I think you need to see a doctor.

Mopery - it's alright I guess. I'd agree with the fact that there's not really much new in here but it's sound enough. A bit too "classic metal" for me though.

Good skills smile

The singer does a reasonable Alexi Laiho impression, Points I'd add:

The bass is all but inaudiable, bass is a great instrument if you use it properly when crafting a song, Cryptopsy's Slit your Guts and Orgiastic Disembowlment are great examples of how you can add some extra crunch with a well placed bass solo (plus their bassist is awesome anyhow).

the vocalist does a good Alexi Laiho impression but the spoken vocals, while surprisongly well worked in water the sound down a lot, don't be afraid to stretch out the lines or cut some repeats (depending on when you write the lyrics).

You aren't afraid of timing changes, this is a good thing but you don't use enough stop-start rythmns or drum fills to make it obvious, don't be afraid to just pummel the toms or double bass (If you listen to Children of Bodom then give Hatebreeder some more spins)

Lastly and most importantly, add some other influences (Give Norther a try), you sound a bit too much like every other American band doing the rounds at the moment.

On the plus side you have got a good amount of time changes (well for the style anyhow) and the vocalist does sound a fair bit like Alexi's golden days (Hatebreeder > all other Bodom) and you have a lot of time to build on what you've got.

EDIT: since you're new here one last thing, Metal is not popular here at all, try the Extreme Music for Extreme People group instead.
