Jay-Z... er, Shawn Carter, the least retired "retired" man since Michael Jordan, is thinking about a comeback, surprising absolutely no one. He tells Billboard.com:

"You all are hearing things from me -- you just haven't heard an album," he says. "Who knows? I'm still going in the studio, getting on remixes and things like that. But it's the people. When people want something bad enough, it happens. And they want it bad (laughs). I'm trying to hold out, but I don't know how long I can."

Is it really a "comeback" if you've been constantly guesting on other people's albums, and your "last" album only came out two years ago? Dude's gonna be the KISS of hip-hop.

I'm down with it. His comeback had better not suck. His "farewell" album is a lot of bad-ass to live up to.

As long as the money keeps flowing in the albums will keep flowing out.

Don't buy it if you don't like it.

i like jay-z ... but he did a pretty bad job of convincing everyone that he retired. and his most recent album is pretty recent. if he makes another one, it won't be an "out of retirement" album at all. it will just be another jay-z album.
