OLD SKOOL

If you could revive any two dead musicians from any period, who would they be, and why would you choose them? I'd choose Karen Carpenter and Nick Drake. Karen had such a beautiful voice, and Nick was so incredibly talented, had he not taken his own life, he would surely have been a household name by now. Also, were they alive today, they would have been able to get better help with their personal demons.

Fred Mercury. His ultra homo-erotic stage presence would make the modern day religious right cringe in agony.

Hendrix and Miles Davis, because they were planning to collaborate on an album before untimely death kind of ruined it.

I'd bring back the Bach, just so the guy can know that all the work he did in his life was not in vain. In fact, most did not consider him to be influential until Mendelssohn found his works decades later in a storage closet.

And i'd bring back Miles Davis as well. He'd give modern jazz a good kick in the pants, and a shot and the arm, and a bag of chips. Ranch chips. The ones at the bottom with all the flavor on them. Yeah, you heard me. Mmmmmm.... ranch chips.

D.Boon, he was an intelligent, passionate & unique musician & the world is a poorer (& dumber) place without him.

Frank Zappa, for the same reasons as D.Boon.

edited for spelling & grammer (I'm having a bad day!!!!)
