I just read that like 'Who cares if he date raped her and got her pregnant? He's willing to marry her and help raise the kid."

Marry me.

I stand corrected,

I looked it up and found this lyric in High Wire:

Our lives are threatened, our jobs at risk
Sometimes dictators need a slap on the wrist

Pro Gulf War I? Interesting.

Irony.

(Not because the political message, but because 65 year old rockers are sad)

You know, this sentence is as horrible and hate-filled as saying "Chicks can't rock" or "Asians shouldn't rap." Unfortunately a site like this isn't the only place where ageism is tolerated. If you'd heard Cordell Jackson, you wouldn't be saying shit like that. puke

NEW YORK (AP) -- The Rolling Stones' upcoming album contains a song seemingly critical of President Bush, but Mick Jagger denies it's directed at him, according to the syndicated TV show "Extra."

"It is not really aimed at anyone," Jagger said on the entertainment-news show's Wednesday edition. "It's not aimed, personally aimed, at President Bush. It wouldn't be called 'Sweet Neo Con' if it was."

Balls of steel, that Jagger has.

I'm glad someone relevant is finally standing up to Bush and his zany policies. The Stones are sure to turn the tide of political sentiment in this country.

I have no real problem with celebs/artists speaking out about political issues, but the majority of them only follow the left-wing rhetoric blindly without any real thought and when they try to string together a thought of their own about the current administration, most of them sound like they are speaking like a 3rd grade student because their arguments are lemming-like and pretty much what we already heard a million times.

Now I am no fan of W, but the least these celebs can do is hire a "current events" coach so they can sound intelligent.

Plus...where were these hypocrites when Clinton was going after that Cuban kid with machine-gun, totin; troops in a house? Most of these idiot celebs wouldn't say anything about the administration if a Demmie was in power.

Clinton didn't send almost 2 thousand American and "coalition" soldiers to their deaths in Iraq for the sake of oil. Fuck off.

Fuck off? Typical argument..

I never said I supported Bush, I said I hate the hypocrisy of celebrities. Whenever a Demmie does something they are often not heard from at all, and whenever a GOP pol does something, they bust out their soapbox and stand on it holding their breath until someone listens.

These are the same celebs who are so detached from reality in their multi-million dollar guarded estates, their untold millions in the bank and the fact that most of them have no concept of the real world because their status protects them from that.

Mosf of the celebs that speak up only repeat the same argument that their counterparts said. And a lot of them sound incredibly stupid when doing it.

It's almost comical.
