Neil Young - Decade
Why didn't anyone tell me his shit was that good?

About a year ago, when I suddenly got into Neil Young for no apparent reason, I asked the same question.
I recommend Tonight's the Night and On the Beach if you want to pick up a couple of full-lengths to augment that great compilation.
New Fave Album of the Moment:

Horse the Band.

Some other superb stuff from that era is American Stars 'n Bars, Hawks & Doves, and Time Fades Away. Maybe Vinyl only though, if they're released on CD it's only sometime in the last ten years. Ever heard "The Bridge?" It's a benifit album with bands covering older Neil Tunes, phenomenal. Flaming Lips, Sonic Youth, Pixies, Bongwater, etc...

The Alpha Conspiracy - Cipher

A little bit 80's, a little bit prog, a little bit goth-industrial, a little bit videogame music. But strangely compelling.
