Um...do you know anything about punk rock? AT ALL?

I like Black Flag, but I haven't been able to get into them enough to eloquently defend Ginn--I'm sure someone else can come along after me to clean up the mess. However, Darby Crash was an insanely brilliant lyricist. One of my favorite Germs songs is "Lion's Share"

My turn: Marry me! love

Greg Ginn is a self-obsessed psychopath. And maybe the most important punk rock guitarist who isn't named Steve Jones or Johnny Ramone...

so hes important... aside from johhny ramone and steve jones (who rippied all his moves off from johnny thuunders).
uh, so that doesnt really sound all that imporatnt

bwahahahahahahahha.

i know the state of "punk" is a joke isnt it?

like you would know, mr. denton texas.

im from PA.
santa cruz isnt too far from where blink 182 is from, is it?

Joe Satriani best guitarist?
LMAO

Techinique without taste = WANKER

hey at least he's not Yngwie right?

i'll take Steve Vai as the king of shred. he had two of the best teachers possible.

Eric Johnson maybe? And take the harmonizer away from Vai and Satch, and they sound a whole lot less interesting.

There are so many "unknowns" that aren't listed.

Paul McCartney--cuz of the way he writes complete solid songs.

ON drums, Mike Justian of Unearth. I think people will feel inclined to put someone whose band thrashes more, and this isn't about Unearth, but his drumming is amazing. I'm sure there's better, I just haven't heard them yet.... course I know 1% of what some people here do.

Bass: I don't know... how about Trevor Dunn? DUnn says Les Claypool ain't shit, by the way.

Guitar: I don't know.
