First was Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds in the late 80's.
Last was.... Eartha Kitt on NYE 2005 in New York

First: John Mayall and Eric Clapton, the Re-united live for the first time in about 30 years.

Last: VHS or Beta 2 weeks ago.

and I can't remember if the last show I saw was Peter Murphy or the Soft Boys both in Vancouver

First concert = Grateful Dead in 1976
Last concert = Elvis Costello about 2 months ago

1st: John Denver in like 1987

last: Hatebreed in Hawaii at Pipeline Cafe Dec '02

My first was an all-ages local thrash band show at a club.
First national act I saw was Primus and the Melvins in like '93.

Last was Pinback last week.

First: Green Day and The Riverdales @ West Palm Beach Auditorium 94

Last: Mindless Self Indulgence @ Screamers (Orlando) about a month ago

last - the evens (ian mackaye and amy farina) a week and a half ago.

first - huge reggae fest at Randalls Island
last - Mastodon, a week ago, in NYC

Man, we got some broad choices so far, that's awesome, it's very interesting to see how many of us shifted ALOT from that first concert and that last one in music styles and preferences.

The first concert I remember being taken to was Sha-Na-Na at a casino in Tahoe, sometime in the 1970's. The first concert I took myself to was the Violent Femmes in 1986, which was amazing. The last concert I went to was last night to see the Groovie Ghoulies in the park, but I spent the majority of the time while they were playing in line for beer.

I saw Garbage & Boys Vs. Girls when I was 14(? I think).

I saw HIM in Feb.

last: gwar "mock the vote" tour

first: Testament & Anthrax 1987 Bristol (hippodrome or colston hall, can't remember which) when I was 13

last: Mike Watt & the Secondmen a few weeks ago Leicester Charlotte

first was Brooks and Dunn at the state fair when I was 8 or 9.

last, I honestly can't remember, but it was either Weird Al or the damn stinking Wallflowers.
