OK Computer.
I have tried to find something more pleasing to my ears for about 3 years since I first heard it, but have failed.

Scenery and Fish by I Mother Earth, featuring the incomparably beautiful "Shortcut to Moncton"

i couldn't tell you how many times this album, and that song in particular, kept me sane on long drives with heavy thoughts.

Nomeansno-One
song: Our Town
I had liked this band for a while, but this album and this song changed how Iistened to a lot of music, especially punk

Roger Waters-Amused To Death
song: Watching TV
Before this album, I listened to mostly Hip Hop and this album changed that overnight. Of all the songs on the album, Watching TV is probably the most personal track and it almost makes me cry when I hear it.

Fuggees-The Score
song: Manifest
This is just an amazing album and it just epitomizes so much that is great about Hip Hop to me. I really can't pick just one track, but Manifest is probably the purest Hip Hop song on there. And for the record, I prefer their first album, I just heard this one first.

Queens of the Stone Age-Rated R
song: Either track Mark Lanegan sings on
I had heard of these guys for a few years when I got this cd for about $5 at a used CD store in Arizona, after I listened to it, my musical tastes changed immediately and I've been devouring every stoner, doom, and sludge band I can ever since(I know they aren't doom or sludge, but the three styles are pretty interconnected). I just like the Mark Lanegan's songs best of all the QotSA songs.

Misfits-Collection 1
song: Bullet
This is the first non mainstream punk album I ever listened to(yeah, I know, their image is everywhere, but the Misfits are not mainstream). And Bullet's just a sick song

Cex - being ridden
Down - nola
El-p - fantastic damage
NIN - pretty hate machine
Talking Heads - stop making sense
Dead Kennedys - in god we trust, inc
Beastie Boys - time to get ill
Slayer - god hates us all
Old Man Gloom - christmas
