As you know, her album titled "Extraordinary Machine" recorded in May 2004 has been shelved by Sony and has yet to be released. Anyway...her entire album has leaked and is now available on the net. Just thought I'd share this with diehard Fiona fans. Oh yeah, if some of you guys can't find it, I can always fix you up.

Why did Sony shelf the album?

Well, they're fools, obviously.

Especially in light of the outpouring of online support for the album to be officially released.

Apparently they say it isn't commercial enough.

The album is fucking amazing.

I'm not sure if I enjoy it more than When the Pawn..., however.

I'd still love to see her work with Albini, even though that would just fuel the fire of detractors who claim she's a poor man's PJ Harvey.

Although, I'm assuming you're looking for the raw immediacy that an Albini recording has, right?

Jon Brion does a large bit of arranging on both Extraordinary Machine and When the Pawn...
Are there any other producers that do a similar job to what Brion does? Producer/Arranger that'd be in the same league.
