Mc Cabes is great. I live about 1 minute from the Glasshouse. smile The John Anson Ford theater is pretty good, too.

The Medicine Bar at The Custard Factory, in Birmingham Uk!

A really intimate venue with a massive sound system, and huge glass doors that open onto a cool courtyard with an fountain in the middle - that they sometimes drain so skaters can have a mid-gig session... you can sit and smoke, watching the stars, and still be closer to the stage - with perfect sound and sight of stage - than in most medium sized venues...

Either that, or Camden Underworld, London. Love them pillars!

It's just a house, but the best show of my life was in the living room.

... maybe I just haven't been to enough different venues shocked

ok, i have a question for you, londoner...

there is a pub at the end of a street in camden, just north of the Camden stop. it's right where the street dead ends...i would love to remember the name so i could recommend it to my friends. it's also just a few spots down the road from some underground club and a record shop. if that's too vague, sorry...it's been a few years. i'm hoping someone might know what i'm talking about. no live music, but great jukebox.

anyway, if you ever get stuck in OK and have to see a show here, definitely go to Cain's Ballroom or Deadtown Tavern in Tulsa, The Deli in Norman, and The Conservatory or VZD's in OKC.
