Just got in from a Fall gig. Trying to think of another band who have been so true to their vision, without compromise, without favour, for such a long time. Coupled with that, thay have the greatest lyricist in the history of popular music. Only band/artiste I could come up with was Captain Beefheart. In comparison, everyone else just seems like sell outs or bandwagonists.

I love the fall. But come on.. Best lyrics? I can think of a number of songs on this nations saving grace that are no more then 3 words... repeated over and over.
