Never seen them but I liked their stuff pre '94, not the biggest thrasher in the world TBH. Couldn't be bothered to pay £30 to see them supporting Slipknot when they were last in London (which IMO is a complete insult since they've been going for more than twice as long, tho' apparently half the crowd vanished after they played anyhow).
Slayer is the best band ever. IThe last time I saw them was in December at the Warfield in SF. They played with Mastodon and KIllswitch Engage. Has anyone seen their wall of blood gimmick? How about Exodus? Their new one kicks ass.javascript:insertSmilie('');

Wall of blood? and new Exodus is good I saw them last year. Its crazy to see them in such a tiny venue here and slayer in such a big one.
In commerating the 20 year anniversary of "Reign in Blood", SLAYER would play the album in its entirety from beginning to end. And when they would end with the song "Raining Blood" they would literally get drenched on stage with "blood"!

Did you see EXODUS at The Underworld? If so, I have a bootleg recording of that show on a two CD-r set that a dude in Canada sent me a couple of months ago. Sounds like a killer energetic show that rivalled their Record Release show I had seen in Feb. 2004!!!
