It's nice to see so many mentions of Animals. "Dogs" is easilly my favorite from that album.
Comments on other albums in this thread:
The Final Cut: Such a brilliant album. Many consider this to be a Roger Waters solo album, but I don't. Listen to Gilmour's guitar work in there. It's still Pink Floyd.
The Division Bell: It's so melancholic, and I love it. It could be the last album.
I love their live 'Pulse' album. My dad bought it when I was a kid. The CD cover had a flashing red LED on the side, which beat at the same rate as a resting human heart. I used to get up during the night and there would always be this little light blinking on and off in the front room. I think it took around three years to fizzle out.
I want the Pulse version of Great Gig in the Sky played at my funeral.
I also choose Animals -vastly underrated album with fantastic songs. But I ! can't believe almost no one's mentioned my close 2nd- their FIRST album -'Piper at the Gates of Dawn' -the only full album with Syd and one of the most psychedelic albums EVER.
The Syd Barrett albums are classic, and The wall, I must say, is a Masterpiece, but If I had to pick just one, that would have to be The Final Cut. There's that feeling with this record which is laced within the songs that the end was near for Waters and Gilmour.
Though, If Roger Waters had stayed with Pink Floyd and Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking was a Pink Floyd album, That would be my choice, hands down. With Clapton playing the guitar on it, all I can say is emotional wow. Though it would have been interesting to hear Gilmour's take on it. Two of my top five favorite guitarists right there. But since it was Waters first solo album, I am sticking with The Final Cut. There's just something about that album that creeps past The Wall for me.
Little bit of trivia, Pros and Cons was an idea Waters had before Pink Floyd recorded The Wall, he presented it to the band, but the band chose The Wall.
Sorry for the ramble, I could go on and on, but I will save your eyes :0)
Always loved The Wall. I burned out the DVD and CD when I was doing a report on epic poems, know every song by heart and can describe every bit of the movie.
My first tattoo is dedicated to Comfortably Numb. My next one (hopefully) will be the vagina flowers from the movie.
I cried like a baby when the concert sold out in like 10 seconds. If anyone has tickets, take me please

That is one of the few albums I still have memorized.
